Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat is the JSOA’s annual Halloween celebration, providing a safe and festive trick-or-treating experience for the children of the JSOC community. Families, units, and volunteers decorate their vehicles in creative themes and hand out candy to costumed kids as they make their way through the event. It is one of the most popular family events on the JSOC calendar and a highlight of the fall season.
The event features more than just trick-or-treating — families enjoy costume contests, games, face painting, and other seasonal activities. Units and organizations across the command compete for bragging rights with the most creative trunk decorations, ranging from spooky haunted scenes to family-friendly themes. The atmosphere is lively, welcoming, and full of the community spirit that makes the JSOC family unique.
Trunk or Treat is free and open to all JSOC families. Volunteers are always needed to host trunks, help with setup, and run activity stations. The event reflects the JSOA’s commitment to supporting the quality of life for military families and creating opportunities for connection and fun within the command community.
