Our Mission
Honor. Remember. Support.
The Joint Special Operations Association (JSOA) is a 501(c)(19) tax-exempt charitable organization. We are an all-volunteer organization โ no paid employees โ with every dollar going directly to our mission. Our work centers on three Lines of Effort that serve the JSOC community.
Memorialize the Fallen
The JSOC Memorial plaza stands as a permanent tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Through memorial pavers and phased expansion, we honor not only the fallen operators but also enabling forces, international partners, K9s, and those lost to non-combat causes.
Each paver tells a story. Each name represents a life of extraordinary service. The memorial ensures that their sacrifice is never forgotten by the community they served to protect.
Scholarships & Grants
Education is one of the most impactful ways we can support JSOC families. Through Merit Scholarships, Wounded Patriot Scholarships, and the NC Patriot Star program (via the Patriot Foundation), we provide financial support to family members pursuing higher education.
These scholarships recognize both academic achievement and the unique challenges faced by military families, particularly those who have experienced the wounds of service.

Support JSOC Family Events
The strength of our community lies in the bonds between families. Through signature events like the annual JSOC Ball, Youth Triathlon, and Trunk or Treat, we bring families together to celebrate, compete, and connect.
Beyond events, the JSOA provides direct support to families facing hardship, illness, or injury โ ensuring that no JSOC family faces difficult times alone.
