Youth Triathlon

Saturday, June 20, 2026

The JSOA Youth Triathlon is an annual athletic event designed specifically for the children of JSOC families. This swim-bike-run competition offers age-appropriate courses for multiple age groups, giving young athletes the chance to challenge themselves in a supportive and encouraging environment. The event promotes physical fitness, resilience, and the same spirit of determination that defines the special operations community.

Volunteer coaches, race marshals, and medical staff ensure a safe and well-organized experience for every participant. Courses are scaled by age group so that children as young as six can participate alongside older youth. Each finisher receives a medal, and awards are presented to top performers in every age category. The triathlon is as much about personal achievement and having fun as it is about competition.

The Youth Triathlon is free for all JSOC families and is one of the JSOA’s most beloved community events. It brings together families from across the command for a morning of fitness, fun, and fellowship. Parents and siblings are encouraged to cheer from the sidelines, and a post-race celebration includes refreshments and activities for the whole family.
